Non-profit promoting the Tallahassee music scene by providing rehearsal and music lessons space--come and follow your musical dreams with us! See more info on the Shaketown Facebook page. We have 4 studios available for rental, the Harmony Studio (20x12 room with amps, PA, mics, drumkit, etc. provided), Melody Studio (20x12 bare room, BYO equipment), Cacophony Studio (13x14 bare room, BYO equipment), and the Lessons Studio (8x10 room with piano). Open Wed-Sat 6-10pm, other times available upon request. Call for a free tour.

Great place, exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant to pay for a place to practice but the Harmony Studio rental fee was reasonable and having all the equipment already there saved the burden of lugging our drums and amps to practice. Well worth the price and I would highly recommend this place, we had a very positive experience at Shaketown and will be back. Tallahassee has needed a place like this forever, and the fact that it is a non-profit dedicated to supporting local music is a plus for me.

Shakedown came to the rescue when we needed a place to practice for 6 hours. The room was comfortable, had everything we needed, and had AC! Danny was also very accommodating and helpful. Support this small local nonprofit!
